Trip to Tennessee . . . Part 1

Over the past few days Dudeboy and I joined uncle Vic on a trip to Tennessee.  The ultimate goal was attending the Wilderness Wildlife Week at Pigeon Forge and then do some hiking in the Smokies.  Blast it if we weren't thwarted with the hiking part.  The first full day we were there torrential downpours turned into heavy wet snow . . . all of which made over 3" of slush.  However, we did get to attend a few of the talks, including Keith's presentation of arches along trails in Tennessee.

By the way, all of these snowscape photos were taken by Dudeboy from our hotel.  I think we need to keep encouraging him with photography.

Well, since we couldn't hike in all of that slush, we decided to hightail it to the plateau and see some waterfalls.
