Monkey Boy

This was a two-part journey. First we went to Pee and Charlie Dog’s. The chickens were very crazy. It was pandemonium. I got in the hot tub once but I got too hot, so I had to get out. I did tons of art with Pee. And one thing was cloth printing.
After a couple days there, we went to Chattanooga to visit Avi, Clynton and Shaka. What Merkin wanted to see was the reenactment of the Scopes trial in Dayton, Tennessee. I’ll tell you what was neat about the Scopes trial reenactment. The newspaper boy and girl selling newspapers dressed up in the right time period. The newspapers were reproductions of the original event. There was a guy selling train pictures that I didn’t expect to be there. The reenactment was in the courtroom where it really happened. It was mostly the person that was against Scopes speaking.
On the way back from Avi’s, we stopped at Old Stone Fort which was an Indian ritual site. The entrance lined up with the sun on the first day of summer, like Stonehenge. We saw a couple of nice waterfalls there. And then Dr. J read Lemony Snicket’s Series of Unfortunate Events on the ride home. That journey was really neat.
I think I’ll see you next week,
Dude Boy

Malc,
I think you need to hire a secretary to coordinate your social calendar! You are sure cramming a lot of neat things into your summer break. Keep up the good work! Have as much fun as you can for as long as you can and remember 'READ YOUR BIBLE'! Uncle Vic
